The Pocono Northeast Resource Conservation & Development (RC&D) Council and its partners will be hosting the Northeast PA Energy Solutions Expo on June 13-14th, 2009 at the Luzerne County Fairgrounds in Dallas, PA. This Expo will highlight exhibitors and vendors who will be showcasing technology, products, and innovations to reduce your energy use and provide locally developed alternative and renewable energy options.
The Continuing Education Program at Wilkes University will offer a certificate for continuing education units for their attendance at the training sessions at the Energy / Environmental Solutions Expo. The number of continuing education units issued will depend on the number education sessions that were attended. There will be no charge for the continuing education credits.

Re:Cycle on Adams is a "green minded" Block Party dedicated to the local community, sustainability and promoting alternative transportation.
The block part is taking place on June 20, 2009, from 12 noon - 8pm on the 300 block of Adams Avenue in downtown Scranton, PA. It will feautre local musicians, vendors, organizations and children's activities.
